Of course BT has their own CMS system but calls on the integration of the Free Rein solution for some of the more specialist and feature rich requirements. This BT project has been handled in partnership with Jacob Bailey who has been a long-term partner and client of Free Rein.
This system supports BT’s Business division’s promotional work on network usage and monitoring. There needed to be a single location where customers using the BT Billing Analyst suite of software support products could go to download full and updated copies, find out about functionality, case studies and ask questions as well and get to online tutorials and book places on the road-show training events.
This system handles training and knowledge management alongside event management, to give customers a self service centre for their Billing Analyst solutions. The system provides email broadcast to invite new customers to download the free software, keep existing users up to date on changes, invite companies to the training events and gather market research and feedback. The system management is shared across a small team, including some extenal agencies and also allows the internal sales team to keep abreast of the programme.
BT's marketing and programme management teams have been the focus of a number of efficiency drives and team resources are stretched. A system that allows fast update and easy management of a broad spectrum of aspects of a digital and off-line campaign has eased some of the pressure. Being able to collaborate across teams and include external agencies in a controlled manner has streamlined to programme and the systems delivery of regular and ongoing management reports automatically to a wide range of stakeholders has relieved pressure on the programme team
